Mui Ne, Vietnam: We’ve spent the past few days in Mui Ne learning to kiteboard - after two full days on the beach, we actually managed to get up on the board a few times. Like most things, it’s way harder than it looks! Unfortunately we weren’t able to get any pictures proving our new skillz, but you’ll have to take our word for it. We are considering taking it up again on Lake Michigan when we get back to Chicago, but are prepared for significantly colder waters.

On our last day in Mui Ne, we paid a visit to the famous Red Sand Dunes - the perfect spot for some great pictures and a few slides down the sandy hills (think sledding but more sand and less snow). You wouldn’t believe the amount of sand we had in our shoes.

    Off to Hanoi!
